Saturday April 21st, 2012 at the Great Flint Arts Council
March 26, 2012 Flint, MI: Flint Unity Movement presents Give, Learn, Live, Grow; a community forum featuring local speakers discussing city affairs. This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st at the Greater Flint Arts Council from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, doors open at 6:00 p.m. Admittance is open to the public free of charge. Scheduled speakers include Deirdre Verdun, Natasha Jackson, Courtney Gardner, and David McGhee. Each Speaker will address one of the major issues facing the Greater Flint area, followed by question and answer time with the public.
The speakers have been deemed The People’s Advocates by Flint Unity Movement for having a record of active participation in the community. Come prepared to learn more about your community with young professionals who are up to the challenge of developing lasting change in Flint. University of Michigan-Flint alumnus Myron Manns will act as moderator.
